Professional Development : 

Youth are the future leaders of our next generation. We at SLYO are committed to invest in young people and develop skills as it will  reduce unemployment, raise income and improve standard of living allowing them to achieve their full productive potential. With such understanding we believe that professional development is essential in creating a resilient young adult.

Conferences: SLYO hosts annual leadership conferences for its members. The conferences serve as an opportunity for the youth to meet and network with others in their communities both professionally and personally. The conferences also feature panels, workshops, keynote speakers and other leaders.

Leadership Mentoring programs : SLYO is able to pair you up with a mentor from any chapter across the globe through our Leadership Mentoring Program. We aim to inspire, and empower the future of these young leaders, who were ‘Born to Lead’. 

Success with SLYO : SLYO hosts a series of virtual events that feature young professionals from various sectors and fields that advise and enable youth to learn, ask questions, and engage with people who have been in their shoes. 

​Practical Knowledge: SLYO gives the opportunity for youth to  practice  what they have learned and to apply their skills to survive in this competitive world today.  They do this by collaboration in Project-based learning. When the SLYOs are designing the project and the essential question that will launch the activities, it is important to understand that many content standards will be addressed.
