LOS ANGELES

The Los Angeles chapter of SLYO is the founding chapter of this organization and has paved the way for other chapters to follow in their footsteps. Beginning with less than 15 members, This group has made a lasting impact on the Sri Lankan community in Southern California and around the nation.
SLYO LA was the first to host the Summer Love event that raised funds to build a library for an under privileged primary school in Sri Lanka.
Since then, they have organized a fashion show, Halloween party and a leadership conference and has inspired young Sri Lankans around the country to join this movement of leadership, philanthropy and love. SLYO LA also hosted the biggest concert of the summer for the Sri Lankan Community, Sara Sihina by Bathiya & Santhush.
As you see, SLYO LA has truly been an excellent example of their well known motto; “Born to Lead”.
